I never quite know if she's having a happy life or not, her music does tend towards the melancholic but nonetheless its beauty shines through.

I know I said that would be the last one for the night but there's a couple of new tracks I wasn't aware of that are well worth sharing. First up is one-time Brightonian Natahsa Khan better known as Bat For Lashes with a new song 'Sunday Love'. It's not a big departure from her usual sound but that is a great sound so I'm pleased to see her sticking with it.

In 2015, an album will be released for a new project called Body of Songs. The LP takes a variety of artists and explores how medical science can inspire music—each track is about human anatomy. For an example, check out Natasha Khan's contribution, the Bat for Lashes track "Skin Song".

What about the tune itself though? It's downtempo and definitely one for those who like their songs to tell a story. It reminds me of the more serious early 80s Kate Bush album tunes but lacks a hook, or maybe the chorus is a little too ponderous. I can't quite put my finger on it but it's not doing it for me at the moment. I'll give it a few more tries over the weekend and see how I get on.

This is a very short but perfectly formed song and accompanying film that Natasha Khan made specially for fashion house, YMC and there's even a guest appearance from Beck.

The second single from her new album has been likened to Gotye but I think it sounds a bit like Caribou. Natasha Khan has an ear for a great tune.
