I really love big guitar songs. By that I mean those songs where the guitar is the weapon of choice and it builds to a massive, crunching crescendo. Think James, think Simple Minds, think Big Country, think Best Coast. Are you still thinking those thoughts? Good. Now transport those thoughts to Finland and imagine a young and very eager band playing great summer tunes. That's where Big Wave Riders come in. Even their name kind of suggests their genre. They have an album out next month and this track from it is a wonderful prelude to the music they are capable of making.
