Her album last year 'Solar Plexus' passed me by until recently and I've been making amends and thoroughly enjoying it. The mix of pop and folk being right up my street.

Norwegian singer, Ms Hjelmeland had an album out last year that bobbled along without causing any great waves which is a real shame as she's got a lot of talent and undoubtedly deserves a wider audience. There's big comparisons, to my ears at least, with Emiliana Torrini and I mean that with the highest praise.
