This is a very strong track to lead with as the first release from their new album 'Bronxie'. This particular tune is a little more 'traditional' Stornoway than some of the others but as with the general gist of the album it's more muscular, if that makes sense, than their previous outings and is an interesting new direction for this excellent English band.

Here's a great hit from a superb album of a few years back. Stornoway really were a breath of fresh air when I first heard them. They still sound great.

A lovely festive hit for you from the Oxford band. I came across this on the very excellent For Folk Sake Christmas album here and the album would make a lovely alternative Christmas stocking filler. Go on, buy the album and support real music.

I haven't listened to their first album in too long but I made up for that on the commute home tonight and now got their second album playing right now. It's a beautiful debut album and flows like a story with harmonies that barbershop quartets would be envious of. The second compliments the first rather well and shows a maturity to their music that makes me wonder where they go for their third album.
