Saint Saviour never fails to deliver, even with acoustic guitar songs. Fantastic stuff.

Why oh why oh why isn't this lady the biggest thing in pop music? It's a crime, that she isn't.

I'm going to keep waxing lyrical about Saint Saviour until she achieves the rewards that she deserves. This will blow you away - it sounds like the best James Bond theme never made.

One of my favourite female singer/songwriters returns with a very deep trip-hop cover of the Yoko Ono track.

Saint Saviour has been one of those artists bubbling under for so long now that when her name is mentioned I kind of assume that everyone knows who I'm talking about. To be frank, people should be talking about her as her talent deserves for her to be mentioned in the same sentence as Martina Topley-Bird, Goldfrapp et al. Her oeuvre of late has been power pop; that 80s tinged electro that a lot of female artists have championed recently but this, her first official single sees her with a slower, more understated tune. I really hope she hits the big time with this as there's so much dross out there getting way more than their allotted 15 minutes fame yet we have right here someone with genuine talent who deserves a calendar's worth. I suspect that it's because she's way too nice in real life.

This woman should be available free on the NHS as the antidote to musical tedium. Here's her interpretation of the Banshees classic. Sometimes all you can do is sit, admire and then clap at the end of it all.

I think this might even have smashed into second place the original by M83. Saint Saviour sings. We should listen.

Before I go to bed I can't resist posting these 2 gems.

Saint Saviour - 'Dreamtime'

She has a new EP out very soon and I think this is one of the tracks on it. I hope so but then again, if not then this is still a great song and worth a big mention. I think she's the real MCoy and hope that she hits the big time sometime very soon.

Rainbow Arabia - 'Boys and Diamonds'

Kompakt Records are releasing a limited edition 7' on Monday of the title track from Rainbow Arabia's recent album complete with a Hardman remix. I think it's the dog's wotsits.

Just a quickie post before I go to bed. These are remixes of very new songs. They are both very good, trust me on that.
