I know she gets a lot of stick for the whole re-invention as a Nevada trailer park girl but I can't help but like her style. Here she is with her latest 'Honeymoon' and it's suitably melancholy and poignant. Great stuff.

It's quite an unlikely candidate for a remix especially a full on bells and whistles one. Not sure about it to be honest but this is the man who remixed Foxbase Alpha so brilliantly so I'll have no bad words said!

I'm warming again to her music. I think the hype surrounding her became a bit much but after listening to her album 'Ultraviolence' again I think I gave her a bit of a hard time of late.

This is the latest release from her new 'Ultraviolence' album and if you've ever heard her previously then you'll probably know what to expect. The David Lynch meets Hope Sandoval sound is still there by the bucketload so there's no new musical direction but she is getting more and more polished as a performer. This is a very good song indeed.

He's upped the tempo and it's now a marching beat with far more urgency, stripped back a lot of the tune and made it very club-friendly but still kept the integrity of the tune intact. I think I prefer this to the original actually.
