There has been quite a hiatus since the last full-blooded Lambchop album and so it's a very welcome return to Kurt Wagner and co. The new album doesn't come with too many surprises except for liberal and deliberate use of vocoder but even that enhances the tunes rather than just flattening out the vocals.

I'm a bit late out the tracks on this one but it's still worth passing on. Lambchop have released a track from their latest album as a free download. It's seven minutes of lost love delivered in Kurt Wagner's inimitable style.
