I finally got around to buying the deluxe version of Walking Wounded. It's an album that's been a huge part of my life and I've never ever tired of hearing it. This deluxe version has lots of goodies packed inside including this remix which is new to me, I think. Just lovely.

Ben Watts and Tracey Thorn are the coolest couple in the universe. Forget Wills and Kate; forget Victoria and David; forget Beyonce and that bloke she's with; Ben and Tracey ARE the cool cats. I don't think they realise just how a regard a lot of people (myself included) have for them. From the bedsit pop of the 80s, the stuff Ben did with Robert Wyatt, the Home Movies album that got me through backpacking and university, the stuff Tracey did with Massive Attack and of course the Walking Wounded album, probably the most played album in the whole of my quite extensive music collection. 

This is from the previous Temperamental album and has the Todd Terry makeover, it's a massively important record and just simply brilliant.
