I've been listening a lot to the new album and in my opinion it really is a game of two halves. One half of the album has tunes such as 'Nobody's Empire' which are classic B&S and I love them all the more for it, the other half veers right into disco territory and it doesn't sit right with me. I feel it has a sub-Saint Etienne sound to it for sure and I've no idea why they felt the need to do this. Maybe I've not approached the album in the right frame of mind or maybe I have some rigid preconceptions that I need to get rid of.
