getting high on music

This is a completely new one on me. We're not talking about drugs as an accompaniment to making or listening to music but the actual music being the drug itself. Apparently it's called 'binaural beats' and works by playing two perfect tones from an MP3 via headphones to produce a 3rd phantom tone that induces a high.

Those claims sound (sic) very dubious to me but it's got authorities in Saudi Arabia and Lebanon worried enough for them to start legislating against it. An article by FactMag here has leading academics quoting a lot of scepticism too. I guess the proof is in the pudding and for those interested, here's a sample. I think I'll pass on this as I'm at work!
